Telemetry and real‑time monitoring services

Instrumenta reviews and delivers telemetry from field devices to receiving systems. It manages real-time monitoring programs and tests responses. Instrumenta also installs, supports and hosts InstraData. It chooses equipment on the requirement, not the brand, and takes no commission from equipment makers.

Services

  1. Consultation session

Talk through your monitoring need with Instrumenta, at no charge, before you choose equipment, software or a service.

Typical case: you need help with a real-time monitoring system or advice on what your site needs.

  2. Monitoring system review

Instrumenta reviews telemetry and real-time monitoring against SAFER, from one measurement to the whole network.

Typical case: you have gaps in your data, and suppliers disagree about the cause.

Result: findings grouped by SAFER stage and system, with a proposed owner and action for each.

  3. Response exercises

Instrumenta tests a monitoring program's triggers and responses with the people responsible for acting on them.

Typical case: your response plan has never been tested in an exercise.

Result: an exercise record showing what was raised, who was told and when, and what they did.

  4. Monitoring system delivery

Bring Instrumenta in before you buy equipment or software. Instrumenta designs the telemetry and real-time system your site needs, manages its purchase and delivery, and commissions it.

Typical case: you have a monitoring requirement from an engineer, a licence or your operation and need a system that meets it.

Result: a commissioned system that meets the requirement, with a record linking each requirement to the test that confirmed it.

  5. Monitoring program management

Instrumenta manages the monitoring program between projects, so it has one manager and one set of records.

Typical case: your network is running, and you need one manager for the monitoring program.

Result: current records for stations, inspections, data checks, alarms, triggers, forecasts, exercises and response plans across the program.

  6. InstraData set-up

Instrumenta installs InstraData, connects any field device, new or in place, and configures views, alarms, forecasts and reports.

Typical case: your site needs real-time monitoring software, or its current software is causing problems.

Result: a working installation, with user access configured and users shown how to use it.

  7. InstraData support

Instrumenta updates the InstraData installation, fixes faults and answers user questions.

Typical case: your organisation runs InstraData on its own servers or cloud account.

Result: updates applied and faults and questions addressed within the agreed response times.

  8. InstraData hosting

Instrumenta runs InstraData on AWS in Australia, in data centres certified to ISO 27001. Hosting includes backups, updates and support.

Typical case: your organisation wants InstraData without running its own servers.

Result: one installation for your organisation, with backups and updates. You can export its data as one backup file at any time.
